Description of Services:
Therapeutic Massage is the mobilization of soft tissue to restore normal systemic and biomechanical/functional use.
Deep Tissue Massage uses slow, deep strokes and friction to access multiple layers of muscle and fascia. It improves alignment, reduces levels of resting tension, and creates more efficient postural and movement patterns.
Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy uses deep stroking techniques and compression/inhibition blended together. This is used to disrupt the input signal to the spinal cord and central nervous system to help release the taut band of muscle.
Orthopedic Massage combines elements of sports and medical massage to treat soft tissue pain, pre/post surgical recovery, postural issues, and musculoskeletal issues.
Medical Massage is outcome-based massage, primarily the application of a specific treatment targeted to the specific problems(s) the patient presents with after a thorough assessment/evaluation.
Himalayan Salt Stone Massage is an innovative healing technique using warm salt crystal stones to ground and balance the body’s electromagnetic field, central nervous system and meridians.
Sports Massage is a form of bodywork geared toward participants in athletics. It is used to help prevent injuries, to prepare the body for athletic activity and maintain it in optimal condition, and to help athletes recover from workouts or injury.
Prenatal massage focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be as her body goes through the dramatic changes of pregnancy. It enhances the function of muscle and joints, improves circulation and general body tone, and relieves mental and physical fatigue.
